The terminals operate according to Thin Client design, which enables efficient management of the system as well as guaranteed security, since all 350 terminals are controlled at the center. The terminals provide for a variety of parliamentary activities, including an electronic voting system, the Internet, a personal data archive and numerous other functions.

With the establishment of the electronic distribution system, online submission and transfer of agenda in the Plenary and to the government respectively, will result in improved administrative efficiency and cost reduction. The bill-tracking system, which delivers real-time follow-up of agenda processes via the Internet to the public, has laid the cornerstone for an open and transparent National Assembly.
