BACKGROUND

The digitalized National Assembly Plenary Chamber, the first and only
system of its kind, is symbolic of Korea¡¯s position as an IT powerhouse.
Korea¡¯s National Assembly has established a new, electronically
enhanced democratic process that will not only ensure efficient and
prudent decision-making, but also offer more effective and convenient
modes of participation.
